- Make sure antivirus software is installed, automatically inspection for updates, and repeatedly scanning all incoming files. If there is a virus connected through a new file it will automatically be repaired or quarantined.
- Run antispyware/ant adware software. Spyware and adware are hands downward nearly all common cause of PC slowdowns. This software is serious if you are surfing the Internet.
- Set up a hardware firewall to stay hackers out. Hackers have automatic tools that are looking for any PC associated to the Internet without a firewall. To give you and thought, at the time of this script, my home PC was scanned 158 times in the last 24 hours.
- Delete your Internet temp files weekly. This will keep your system cleaner and permit it to run earlier.
- Defrag your hard drive periodical. This is not the issue it was but present are still benefits to defragging your hard drive on a standard basis.
- Microsoft Windows is continuously releasing update for their in service system. Most of these updates are repairing safety holes in their software.
- Don't open e-mails as of strangers. Don't open attachments from public you know if you'e not expecting it. Call someone and make sure they sent it.
