These notes give details how to access data that is stored on a Memory Stick, without opening an application first. Usually you would do this via My Computer but this option is not available on the desktop of the public PCs for security reasons.

- Plug Memory Stick into some of the 2 USB ports situated on the front of the PC. Wait a few seconds for the PC to recognise the stick.
- Double click on the Public Drive or My Documents symbol on the desktop.
- Click on the down arrow to display shows available drives.
The USB drive should be displayed in the list of available drives; the name depends on the product of drive but in this case it is KINGSTON (E:)
- Click on the drive to display the contents.
